CIYAM Pty. Ltd. (ABN 66 093 704 539) is an Australian company that was incorporated in 2000 by its founder Ian Knowles.

Initially CIYAM focussed on providing software development services to its then major customer Hardcat Pty. Ltd. to develop and enhance their popular Fixed Asset Management software. Over the next several years CIYAM began to develop a system for software engineering that was inspired by the ideas of Generative Programming and motivated by the desire to build software more efficiently.

By early 2006 CIYAM had developed an architecture and methodology that would enable web applications to be easily generated rather than having to be constructed laboriously from hand-crafted source code.

This unique software engineering system has turned the idea that software can be manufactured from a dream into a reality and can now be utilised to help many small to medium businesses obtain highly customised software solutions normally only affordable for large businesses.
